The Midwest Developmental League, which includes 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U and 19U boys age groups, was founded in April 2011 as part of US Club Soccer's National Premier Leagues (NPL). Clubs will play a home and away schedule within their conference. With this club-based league structure, each GLA_MDL team will have an opportunity to advance to the NPL post-season.

We will be expanding this division for the 2021-22 season by offering a club-based league for girls as well. All clubs wanting to apply for the 2021-22 season will have an opportunity to do so in April of 2021. Clubs must have teams in all 6 age groups to apply. There will be separate applications for boys and girls. Clubs do not need to apply for both.
