Welcome to the ECNL Regional League – Great Lakes Alliance (GLA), the premier youth soccer league for boys and girls across Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Western New York. Established in the 2022-23 season for boys and expanded in the 2024-25 season for girls, this league was designed to meet the growing demand from member clubs for more competitive opportunities and a defined pathway to the prestigious ECNL. By partnering with the Great Lakes Alliance, the league aligns more clubs and leadership within the ECNL and US Club Soccer structure, delivering exceptional developmental experiences and career-building opportunities for players.
The primary goal of the Great Lakes Alliance ECNL-RL is to create a logical and seamless progression focused on player development, providing a stable, high-level competition environment. This league empowers clubs to deliver consistent, meaningful experiences that support players as they grow and advance within the sport. We are thrilled by the new possibilities that the ECNL Regional League – Great Lakes Alliance brings to clubs and players, building a brighter future for youth soccer in the region.

REFEREE FEES FOR 2025/2026 SEASON
Game fees should be paid to referees no later than immediately after the game. The home team is responsible for payment. Below is the minimum referee payscale:
U17 & U18/U19 Fees: $75 to referee and $50 to each assistant referee, and
U14, U15, & U16: $65 to referee and $40 to each assistant referee.
U13: $60 to referee and $40 to each assistant referee.
U12: $40 to referee and $30 to each assistant referee.
U11: $40 to referee and $22 to each assistant referee.

Player Registration (Carding)
Digital Rosters, Passcards, and Reporting:The home and away team should use the ECNL App to check in players and staff with the referee. Only eighteen (18) players are eligible for the match. Please click on each player to show their name and jersey number.At the conclusion of the game, the home team is responsible for finalizing the information on the ECNL App. The referee may choose to use the QR code to finalize below points. Once the referee signs, a notification will come back to the home team for final submission.

First half score, Second half score, Final score
Yellow and Red Cards (see below for Red Cards), with brief description of red cardand red card coding noted
Signature from Center Referee to authorize all information contained in Match Report is accurate
